FHE (Farming and Health Education) is a community bassed Organisation that works in KAkuma Refugee Camp to address the desire of Health, Protection and Psychological needs of children, their families and the communities, with one of the strategy being to strengthen the community based protection mechanism. Enabling the community to active in protecton and food security. 

We are Community Based Organization registered in Turkana West of Kenya through CC/TRKW/CBO/HC 5819 certificate no 04124, operating in kakuma refugee camp and leading by youth refugee. We deals with permaculture projects and agroforestry and Sarafu (community Currency) in Kakuma refugee camp with the aim of eradicating hunger in Kakuma refugee camp. 

Although LWF and WORLD VISION are helping the Refugees by provision of food, we still have more than 5,000 malnutrition children and malnourished pregnant mothers who are more affected in Kakuma refugee camp. Due to this, the Farming and Healthy Education community-based organization is working with permaculture and Syntropic Agroforestry and Community Currency (Sarafu) to fill this gap by teaching and growing our own fresh food in Kakuma refugee camp!
